Debbie A. Cutler was born and raised in Malta as one of six children in the
Owen family. She received her B.A. in Political Science in 1984 from the University
of South Florida and her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 1987. She practiced
in Saratoga for the past 22 years. Ms. Cutler's areas of practice include personal
injury, elder law, real property law, estate planning, estate administration, and litigation.
She is a member of the Saratoga Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, the
Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, and Hope Presbyterian Church.
James P. Trainor received his J.D. degree from Fordham University School of Law
in 1990, his M.S. in Business Administration from Boston University in 1985, and his B.S.
in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1981. Mr. Trainor serves
as the Town Attorney for the Town of Stillwater and his practice concentrates in the
areas of business law, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He also has extensive
experience in criminal defense and personal injury litigation. Mr. Trainor holds the
rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves Judge Advocate General's Corps
and currently supervises military attorneys throughout the Northeast as the Army's Acting
Regional Defense Counsel. He is active in legal aid and the assigned counsel programs of
New York State.
Daryl S. Cutler received his B.S. in Zoology from the University of South Florida in
1984 and his Juris Doctorate (cum laude) from Albany Law School in 1992. Prior to attending
Albany Law School, Mr. Cutler worked in the field of scientific research with the New York
State Department of Health. Mr. Cutler co-authored eight scientific abstracts and articles.
He received the Albany Law School's Estate Planner Award in 1992. Mr. Cutler has worked as a
general practitioner in Saratoga County for the past 15 years. Mr. Cutler's areas of practice
includes family law, matrimonial law, estate planning and administration, litigation, business
and corporate law. Mr. Cutler also serves as the attorney for the Planning Board and Zoning
Board for the Town of Stillwater. Mr. Cutler has held the position as President and Member of
the Board of Directors for Cornell Cooperative Extension, Saratoga Springs Education Foundation,
Transitional Services Association, Inc., and has been a Member of the Board of Directors for Spa
Christian School and Schenectady Christian School. He also has been a leader for the Christian
Service Brigade of Hope Church for over 18 years, is a Member of the Saratoga County Bar
Association, the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, and Hope Presbyterian Church.
